Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): The Cult Of Steve

During his lifetime and his time as the CEO of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) made it as one of the most celebrated individuals in the technology industry.

Let this analyst breakdown the obvious technical-indicators for AAPL.

Steve Jobs was responsible for reviving Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), which was on the verge of hitting rock bottom? His leadership and influence saw the company grow to become the big technology giant that it is today.

His epic achievements, with Apple created great respect and recognition from all over the world.

After his sad demise in 2011, Walter Isaacson, who had previously maintained a close personal relationship, with Jobs wrote a book about him. The book talked about his life, family and friendships. However, the book did not receive the praise and welcome it desired. This is because the book failed to deliver as expected. It concentrated more on Steve Jobs’ personal life, rather than completely bringing out his accomplishments. The book failed to recognize the genius aspect as well as the technological aspect. This failure of Isaacson to fully under the technological scope therefore rendered the book as incomplete.

That first book saw Jobs’ supporters express their dissatisfaction. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) itself was not satisfied with it.

The second book about Jobs is titled ‘Becoming Steve Jobs’ which was written by Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli also failed to live up to expectations. Critics said that the book failed to push up on Steve Jobs’ personality and its influence to Apple’s success.

Part of Jobs’ successes includes getting the company to survive almost falling out completely. He also brought the company up to levels where it has been able to gain a massive following for its products. Fortunately or, unfortunately, Apple’s fans usually have the tendency of being too attached to their products. This obsession may be limiting the ability to accept change, and if anything, they stand a chance of taking it too hard in case Apple fails on any aspect.

So far, the company has been able to deliver exceptionally well. Hopefully in future, an autobiography that befits Apple’s icon will emerge.
