Lynn Vojvodich, the EVP and CMO of salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM) will be joining a host of other senior executives for the upcoming VB Growth Summit. The invite-only event will have 180marketing executives from various companies.

Salesforce is the leading cloud services provider and has been at the helm of the industry for about 16 years. Vojvodich joined the Salesforce in 2013 and has been vocal about the need for change in the marketing world that is fused with technology.

She has been a vocal proponent of constant innovation, changing and pushing boundaries. According to her anycompany that does not do the same will be obsolete in five to ten years.

In related news, salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM) acquired Toopher, an Austin, Texas-based security software start-up. The terms of the deal are undisclosed.

According to Toopher’s post, the company has stopped selling its post as its teams will be joining Salesforce.

Ina statement Josh Alexander and Evan Grim, the founder of Toopher, stated their excitement in joining the largest Cloud Computing Company.

According to Mark Diodati, the research Vice President at Gartner, the acquisition by Salesforce makes sense if one considers the fast growing Identity Management as a Service market. He also said that the capabilities acquired through the acquisition will enhance Salesforce’s competitive capabilities.

The acquisition of Toopher is the latest in series of moves by Salesforce to increase its security centric options. Earlier the company had released Login Flows and also participated in the development of OpenID Connect and authentication protocol.

Peter Hamilton, the CEO and Partner at mobile attribution analytics company, TUNE, will also be attending the VB Growth Summit event. TUNE is partnered, with some of the biggest names in mobile first space including Spotify and Uber.

In a recent statement to VB, Peter Hamilton said that the biggest challenge for mastering cross device is that the industry nowadays does no not take into account multi-touch devices.
