Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc (NYSE:HOT) launches its new eco-friendly resort ‘Element’ in Fargo. Starwood announced the launch of its eco-friendly ‘Element’ in North Dakota. The hotel is located in the booming Veterans Boulevard Corridor. The Hotel, owned and maintained by StaySharpe Hotels is an eco-wise hotel and has sustainable lodging for environment concerned travellers with a 130 rooms capacity.

According to Brian McGuinness, the Senior VP of the Speciality Select Brands for Starwood, the hotels are for smart and sustainable lodging. He also added that the ‘Element’ will triple its portfolio in the next two years.

Element Fargo is located at a good position and is close to the new Stanford Fargo Medical Center, it is also just 10 minutes from the Microsoft Campus too. The hotel is also nearby other landmarks like Fargodome and West Acres Mall. Element is right now situated in a place, which is experiencing a rapid growth due to the place being a confluence of energy, technology and manufacturing sectors.

Element hotels target customers who are eco-conscious and seek to reduce their carbon footprints.
