AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) recently announced to complete its expansion plan in Austin, transitioning all U-verse® with AT&T GigaPower services with up to 1 Gbps speed. The company also doubled its reach of broadband and Wi-Fi services in Austin and surrounding communities, serving more households and small businesses.

The Future Plan

In January 2014, the company decided to double the reach of its fiber network by the year end. The company successfully completed its expansion plan in September, well ahead of its schedule.
