As per the reports, it has taken help of International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) and Samsung Electronics Co. in order to develop this high-end device. It will be available this summer if everything goes as per plans. People can buy it by paying as much as $2,380. It is the second time when Blackberry has entered the tablet market.

Previously, BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) came up with PlayBook tablet in order to compete with smartphone leaders like Samsung and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), but it failed badly. It not only lacked core features, but also had several operational inefficiencies, which led to a huge loss worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Even though Blackberry failed to meet users’ expectations lately, but still experts consider it as a company that can offer devices equipped, with the latest technology and high-end security. Both, business users as well as government users put the security in devices on top.

The Secusmart unit of Blackberry came up, with the Secu Tablet recently, which had most of its features like Galaxy Tab S 10.5 of Samsung. Management of Blackberry expects the users to like the newly launched tablet. It believes that the new launch will set-off previous losses.
