Are analyst calling TSLA a long-term hold?

Insights On Matter:

A car which doesn’t require any driver has been a dream for many, Tesla is going to make it possible for everyone. Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer, Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) announced recently that his company would look forward to introducing the first car with autonomous technology within a couple of months’ time. With the help of this technology, drivers will not have to worry about riding the car on highways and other long routes. The autonomous technology will take control and make it possible for the car to drive without driver’s instructions.

According to Musk, not a repair performed by the mechanic, but a software update will allow the Model S sedans of Tesla to upgrade to a level where there would not be any need for the driver. This new technology in the self-driven cars will work like auto-pilot mode of flights and helicopters. If not for the entire time, this technology will control the ride on major routes and highways.

Even though his announcement has hit the media in a flesh, but some of the prominent auto experts are doubtful about the usage of this technology. They are not sure if this type of auto-drive feature is legal in the country not. Tesla will have to find a way to make sure that no regulation is broken, otherwise what would be a game-changing innovation, will not make it to the reality. No Tesla representative has said anything on about legal complexities and Tesla’s plans to overcome them yet.
