Qlik Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:QLIK) surged by 17.89% to $26.83 on Friday after the company’s results were above market estimates and positive full year guidance. Company took a tax charge because of which its fourth quarter earnings fell by 15%.

Millennial Media, Inc. (NYSE:MM) surged by 13.96% to close at $14.20 in Friday’s trade. Stock surged ahead of positive earnings expectations next week. Key things to watch out in company’s results would be its Outlook, How mobile marketing is influencing along with its market share. Another key point is Millennial Media, Inc. (NYSE:MM) doesn’t have a huge competition to deal with in mobile ad market other than Google’s Admob which is a formidable rival.

MeadWestvaco Corp. (NYSE:MWV) surged by 12.53% to close at $35.65 in Friday’s trade. Stock surged after reports came in that Trian Fund Management said that it has bought stake in the company as per the regulatory filing. With this purchase Trian Fund Management now has 1.6 million shares.

Pharmacyclics, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCYC) surged by 8.47% to close at $87 in Friday’s trade. Stock surged after the company received approval from U.S FDA for Breakthrough Therapy designation to its ibrutinib which is used for treating patients who are suffering from refractory mantle cell lymphoma or relapsed and Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia. The company also declared stellar set of numbers on Thursday after market’s close which had beat most of Analyst expectations.

Westport Innovations Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ:WPRT) was another buzzing stock on Friday which was up by 7.94% to close at $31.54. Stock surged after there was takeover speculation in market.
