Even though it’s been four months since Christmas, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) still seems to be in the holiday spirit. As per the reports, it has announced the open sourcing of its Santa Tracker project that includes a number of applications for Android, Web and Android Wear.

A few days back, while giving an interview to one of the dailies, the head of Google Glass talked about innovation. He told reporters that one could afford to fail at Google, but doing no innovation was out of the question. According to him, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Glass was one such attempt, through which Google tried to uplift the level of society. Even though things didn’t work out properly, but that doesn’t mean that Google failed.
The current step of putting Santa Tracker Project is similar to company’s previous initiatives. Through this initiative, Google wants to help those young developers who want to know more and more about technology. In a statement, one of the spokesmen of Google said that the source code of Santa Tracker Project was available with GitHub.
It would help all those young developers who want to learn how games and websites are built using various world-class technologies such as JBox2D, Polymer, OpenGL and Web Animations API.

It can surely help them learn the procedure to develop something like that on their own.
