My Size Inc (NASDAQ:MYSZ) reported that the SizeUp – Measurement from the Air application is now available on additional 15 smartphone models, bringing the total count to 33. The app, which was initially introduced on the iOS operating system earlier in this year and on the Android system in May 2017, has downloads of more than 530,000 to date. It is presently available for download for Android as well as iOS operating systems. New customers can enjoy a free thirty-day trial period.
Ronen Luzon, the CEO of My Size, expressed that having recently reported that they have improved their algorithm’s measurement capabilities. They are now delighted to announce that they are considerably increasing the range of phones on which the application can be utilized. Several have already left manual tape measuring, substituting it with their mobile device. They consider that the application will be available and accessible for additional devices in coming period, and they plan to work day and night to make that happen.
The SizeUp application permits users to instantly and precisely measure objects by putting their smartphone at one side of the object, lifting it marginally and shifting it to the other side, either horizontally or vertically. It is easy to calibrate in attempt to enhance accuracy and there exists no requirement to clean the object surface before measurement. Users can compute intervals between surfaces and the application automatically saves the last measurement computed. The app also permits users to share measurements. It is intended for application in the international market and supports both the imperial and metric systems.
Smartphone industry report have demonstrated that this is a vast international market with robust growth. Nearly 1.5 billion smartphones were offered globally in 2016 alone, exhibiting a significant jump versus 680 million units offered in 2012.
On Thursday, the share price of My Size surged 51.20% to close the day at $0.9994.
