How’s And What’s of The Competition:

Twitter has initiated this competition in United Kingdom under the title #PoweredByTweets: The Challenge. The primary objective of this competition is to come up with a creative idea to suggest a clever use for Twitter data as well as micro-blogging service to solve various problems.

While talking about the details of this competition, Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) stated that it would be open for two months. Entries that sent after June 5, 2015 will not be accepted. In order to keep the integrity of this competition unaffected from any controversy, the company has announced that the winner will be chosen by three industry leaders from media, arts and technology background. Twitter has not yet disclosed the names of these judges.

As per the reports, Pixie Labs will build the winning ideas for the company. They are all set to go on display during one of the most sought after events of the year i.e. London Design Festival that will take place in September. Apart from recognition and prizes, the winners of this competition will also be handed over a media budget by the tech giant that will take care of all the expenses occurred while promoting their idea in public.

The competition is not only a chance to win prizes, but also an opportunity to showcase your talent in front of a wider audience. It has grabbed the attention of a lot of youngsters and industry experts. The management of Twitter expects it to attract a lot of entries from different parts of the world.
