Albany, New York (09/22/2014) – InterMune Inc (NASDAQ:ITMN) reported that it had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding related to consolidated Delaware action. The objective is to settle the litigation in the Court related to the agreement and plan of merger as of August 22, 2014 among Klee Acquisition Corporation, Roche Holdings, Inc. and InterMune, Inc. As per the Memorandum of Understanding, InterMune agreed to put together certain supplemental disclosures mentioned in the attached exhibit showing the amendment to its Schedule 14D-9 to be filed with the SEC on Monday, September 22, 2014.

Validus Holdings, Ltd.(NYSE:VR) said that it would participate in the upcoming JMP Securities Financial Services & Real Estate Conference to be held in New York on September 30, 2014. Cardinal Health Inc (NYSE:CAH) named Michael C. Kaufmann as new Chief Financial Officer of the company. He will succeed Jeffrey W. Henderson, who will continue with its CFO role till November 11, 2014. Jon Giacomin will be the new CEO of the pharmaceutical segment. Mike has been with the company from past 24 years. His extensive operational experience and financial acumen is well suited for the new role of CFO.

Burlington Stores Inc (NYSE:BURL) announced new additions in its Board of Directors. Frank Cooper III and William (“Mac”) McNamara have been appointed to Burlington’s Board effective immediately. Following the new additions, Burlington will now have eight members in its board who have got vast experience across the retail, marketing, financial and consumer products sectors. Frank has experience and expertise in brand development, especially in the field of digital and social media. Mac has experience in the field of retail marketing.
